About SF Counts

A complete census count means a better future for all San Franciscans.

This year, San Francisco is making sure every person in our city gets counted in the 2020 Census!

When everyone does the census, San Francisco gets our fair share. This means funding for local services and the political representation we deserve. To do this, we’ve launched a citywide census outreach campaign, SF Counts.

SF Counts’ mission is to ensure that everyone in San Francisco, including renters, children, people experiencing homelessness, immigrants, and non-English language speakers, is empowered to do the census.

SF Counts is a campaign of the Office of Civic Engagement & Immigrant Affairs (OCEIA), and is a network of City Departments, community-based organization grantee partners, and an art-based coalition, Art+Action.
